Putrid. That's the only word to describe the Jet's "effort" vs. the Chiefs today. 7 fumbles,a blocked kick, stupid penelties,a total mail it in job.Looks like it will be another long season for NY football fans, unless the Giants show something.

On the other hand, my Dolphins did wonderful. Ronnie Brown, Sammy Morris, and Ricky Williams will make one hell of a three headed monster. Old Gus Frerotte looked pretty good too. AFC title game? HAHAHA...be serious. Wildcard is a possibility though.

You rule out the possibility of a AFC Title too easily. Over the last five years or so there's always been at least one surprise team that goes deep in the playoffs, all starting with the Patriots going from 5-11 to 11-5 and winning the Superbowl. There will be one this year, if history serves as any indicator, and I see no reason at all why it can't be the Dolphins, the team that everyone has already practically handed 4th in the AFC East to. All the "expert" predictions I've seen has got the Pats, the Bills, and the Jets all making the playoffs, which is just one slap in the face too many for Miami. See ya next week at the Meadowlands, jerks.

I rule out AFC title, yes, but not Wild Card. You and me both know the Pats are too strong for the rebuilding Fins. I say we finish second in division behind the Pats. Gotta watch for the Bills though, because they supposedly have the best D in the league this year. Only question mark is at QB. I still say we beat them though. Fins finish 10-6, wild card.

Hello, we beat the Pats last year when we sucked and they were poised to be repeat champions. Everything is up in the air with the Dolphins cause we can definitely beat the best but unfortunately we can still blow it and lose to some of the worst, but you can never rule us out. I also say we finish second in our division at the end of the regular season, but I don't doubt for a moment that we can't go all the way in the playoffs.

All the way? Well, anything can happen. But unless Gus Frerotte, Sage Rosenfels, or AJ Feely step up in a major way this year, we're screwed at QB. The three headed monster at tailback will be able to carry a big part of the offense, but unless a QB steps up, David Boston, Randy McMichaels, and Chris Chambers are useless.

By the way, how about that end around when it looked like Ronnie was tackled for a loss, but gave it to Chambers? Wow...I think I was the only person in Denver rooting for my Dolphins

Indeed.....I don't know what game you were watching but Gus was playing the best he's played yet for us. And that Ronnie/Chambers play didn't happen anywhere near the end of the game. Gus will do just fine, and as long as we cut back on our turnovers and our flags like we were able to do in the second-half, we'll be very solid this season. So meh.

What's this 'we' stuff Kemosabe?

You are either a Giants fan or you are from NY, you can't be both.
