Hi, I've been on here for about a month. I have three wins, all three to the same person, rated about 1200. I have three losses, to a 1400 rated player, a 1500 rated player, and a 1600 rated player. My rating is given as about 1450. How can i have a 1400+ rating if I've only lost to 1400+ rated players, and only won three times, to a 1200 rated player. Can someone explain? thanks

The link explains why your rating might go down despite winning a game. The same presumably applies to rating going up despite losing. In a nutshell, until you have completed 20 rated games your rating is provisional and subject to weirdness.
