hey...he's only 15...i'm not sure we want to expose him to that kind of crap....if he can get in to the theatre
I haven't seen it meself but how has it been nominated for so many oscars if it's crap?
Or was that just your crap opinion?
actually the movie itself was rather good. good acting. decent story line. but the amount of gay sex in that movie is disturbing for people of any age but particularly of the sexually impressionable age of our young stoner friend here. i'm not a homophobe, in fact you can't be in the hawaiian culture since there are so many 'mahu' here, and i do have gay friends but to shove anything in your face that blatantly is just wrong. i don't want to see straight people having sex that much in a movie...much less gay people. I think they did it just for the shock value because a hollywood flick has never really fully featred that aspect of the American society and furthermore i think it is more this shock value that has made this movie become nominated for so many oscar, which by the way are so political i think you can hardly judge the movie quality based on the number of nominations.

The rest of what you say, I agree with mostly. 🙂
For some reason girls and women generally appear to like these type of films though.
