New server works great!

I've been browsing around the site on the new server, and it really
works great! Much faster, and haven't seen any problems at all!

ZOOM

...it just too fast. Many times I see a move is stupid as I hit the move
button, and I used to have time to hit the stop button before the
message was sent - but no more. Watch as my rating plumets.

The interface - slicker
For my hasty bad moves it's to blame
All I need now
Though I'm not sure quite how
Is an upgrade for my poor old brain!

Glad to hear that it has made a difference...

The real test will be between 13:00 and 15:00 British time, when America gets
to work on Monday morning. That's when the server suffers most!

The other thing to consider is that the number of users might increase due to
the extra speed, so it may be that the load on the server simply expands to
capacity. We shall see... I don't think it will ever be as bad again as it
was in the last month or so though!

Chris is the one to thank - all I did was talk him into letting us spend
even more money on the machine, then let him do all the work!
