I may be wrong. Chrismo had promised me something would
happen when I made my 50,000th move. HEY!!!! I got a new Star.
Whoopie!!! Thanks Chrismo and Russ. Who will get a new star after
making 100,000 moves?

It is only for fun really, and I hope people don't race through games
just to get an 'upgrade' - but it does add a bit of visual variety to the
forums at least.

50,000 moves anytime soon though.

Sorry I took the site down there - it was only meant to be for 2
minutes, but a bug slipped through - hence the delay.

Well, to answer your question, we wanted to do something to celebrate
the 'RHP hardcore', vaknso reaching 50k moves in particular (and not
ignoring Rhymester, who is also not far behind). I also needed to
change the star - the previous one was ‘borrowed’ from ebay – and
some observant person actually noticed.

So, just for fun and to have some variety in the star filled forums, I
thought I would subtly change colours/colors of the stars as someone
plays more on the site.

The changes occur at 2k, 10k, 25k and 50k. Maybe I’ll add a 100k
star when vaknso gets to 90k next week. (as he undoubtedly will&hellip😉

Russ it too me a while to realize what you had done and then I
started noticing that the more moves a played had made to stars were
richer in color. Great Idea.

I'm confused. Why do the stars get dimmer as you make more moves?

LOL. I thought about it. The star's color get a richer texture as you
make more moves.

Does that mean from vaknso's point-of-view, everyone else's star is red?

It actually had me holding my son but to make it fit good Russ
cropped it for me...although there was nothing he could do with my
face...hehehe
