@Very-Rusty saidSeniors are most welcome (off peak).
Just put a sign up saying Seniors not welcome! 😛

We are targeting a younger cliental who are willing to take out a small loan to purchase from our range of fancy hot chocolates.
I believe Sir, you are sending mixed messages! 😉
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidA bit like Public Transport in Gothenburg: Seniors go for free except Mon-Fri 06.00 - 0.9.00 hrs and 15.00 - 18.00 hrs.

@Torunn saidYes. (Apart from the free bit).

I'm hoping seniors will attend the Tavern when younger folk are still in bed and not ready to purchase their hot chocolate. Seniors will be discouraged at peak times by loud music and organised pillow fights.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThat is very true.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidOut in the shiny night
We've chosen a different path. - No requested drink is guaranteed delivery.
Indeed, The Harsh Café is one of the names we are considering.
The rain was softly falling
The tracks that ran down the boulevard
Had all been washed away
Out of the silver light the past came softly calling
And I remember the times we spent
Inside the Sad Cafe
Oh it seemed like a holy place
Protected by amazing grace
And we would sing right out loud
The things we could not say
We thought we could change this world
With words like "love" and "freedom"
We were part of the lonely crowd
Inside the Sad Cafe
Oh, expecting to fly,
We would meet on that shore in the
Sweet by and by
Some of their dreams came true,
Some just passed away
And some of them stayed behind
Inside the Sad Cafe.
The clouds rolled in and hid that shore
Now that Glory Train, it don't stop here no more
Now I look at the years gone by,
And wonder at the powers that be.
I don't know why fortune smiles on some
And lets the rest go free
Maybe the time has drawn the faces I recall
But things in this life change very slowly,
If they ever change at all
There's no use in asking why,
It just turned out that way
So meet me at midnight baby
Inside the Sad Cafe.
Why don't you meet me at midnight baby,
Inside the Sad Cafe.

@Suzianne saidYou've inspired a 'sad corner' in the new tavern. (That's where we've put the grey beanbags).

@Earl-of-Trumps saidAlready being poured sir.
Ahhhh, it's nice to have a place to imbibe and unwind.
I'll have a shot of Grey Goose and a whisk of Chambord on ice, and some crisps please. And a drink for Torunn
@Earl-of-Trumps saidThank you Earl, very generous. This place is confusing but I'm sure they have quality stuff. And the best birthday cakes.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSpecial request, Your Song, I'm sure he remembers the words. I will be listening by the door.
Tavern alert!
The far side of the tavern will be unavailable tomorrow between 1pm and 3pm (GMT) due to a celebrity booking.
I can't say much, due to confidentiality, but it's Elton John.
