https://www.nytimes.com/games/connections

Players are given 16 words and must find groups of four items that share something in common.

For example:

Bass, Flounder, Salmon, Trout = The answer is FISH:
Ant, Drill, Island, Opal - Things that start with FIRE:

There may be some words that may seem like they are the correct answer but actually are not; that is intentionally done to throw you off track to the real connection. You are allowed 4 guesses for the whole puzzle.

Just like with Wordle, there's a new puzzle each day. I got today's puzzle without using any guesses. Give it a shot.

Did anyone try today's game? This one is tough, you have to find the connection between symbols. I didn't get today's game but it is doable.

Had a go and though I guessed one of the groups couldn't put the right four together.

There's a BBC quiz show called 'only connect' and the same challenge features- called 'the wall'. I'm lucky if I make one connection!
