I can't wait until football starts. I think that the hardest division will be the NFC south. it's going to be a race between the Falcons and Saints. The panthers are going to come in third because they just had a lucky season. the Bucs are going to be dead last.

Wasn't close last year, doubt it'll be very close this year.
2002 Regular Season
The NFL Standings are arranged by conference, with the AFC on top and the NFC below. Each conference is then divided by division with the east on top, the north second, the south third and the west at the bottom.

Who did the Pats beat in the playoffs 2001 and 2003?
What is their record as a team since the start of 2001 season?
How many games in a row have they won, what is the record and will the record be continued at the start of 2004 if they win the first 'season' game?
Gah, I know that is asking a lot... but you seem to have a good link for NFL info!

In 2001 the Patriots beat the Raiders (the famous "tuck rule" game) and the Steelers, and of course the Rams in the Super Bowl.
In 2003 they beat the Titans and Colts to get to the Super Bowl, where they beat the Panthers.
Since the start of the 2001 season, including play-off games, the Patriots are 40-14.
They have won 15 straight, the record for the modern era is 17, held by the 1972 Dolphins. (I think it's 17, unless there are games from the 1971 or 1973 seasons connected to that streak.) The record will continue if the Patriots beat the Colts on opening night.
