Any thoughts on this? Owners fault? Players? If a hockey player had to make only 2 million a year instead of eight million, do you think he'd say "heck with this, I'm getting a job at McDonalds", or do you think he would ultimately play? I personally will side with the owners if the ticket prices come down.

just like the lottery wiinner who was told he had won so much they could only pay the amount over 3,000,000 per week for the next 2 years, and said sod that give me my pound back.

This is something that baseball had a hard time recovering from. Some say they still have'nt. I don't know if the NHL will be as lucky.
