I think, but might be wrong, that you can't use the same e-mail address for 2 accounts.
I wouldn't worry about creating a 2nd account, as I believe (but could be wrong) that bandwidth is used by people using the site & an idle nick won't hurt, but do you really need to? If you get known then what your name is becomes unimportant.

If you keep both active it is polite to state so in your profile.
