In NZ we have "Dry July" ie no booze for the month.
So far, so good ....

Give us some reasons why you'd like to 'stay dry' for a month.

Then an estimation of whether you can make it, even 1 day, will be given.

Everytime I drink something uncomfortable happens and it never gets out of hand but it's everyone around me who cause the situations. I get along with everyone but I am aloof and people take it as me thinking I am better than them which isn't true. I would give anyone the shirt off my back. Well their is that and their is the cost issue. 5 dollars a beer adds up quick.

Blaming everyone else except yourself is never a good thing, and in most cases is false anyway.

Well I can't change who I am just to please everyone. I've been aloof my whole life. Even as a kid I was. I didn't understand it then and I still don't. I am friendly and once people get to know me it's great but around groups I am aloof. I hate that word. Is their another word to describe it?
