A tag on to the "Flat Earth " thread.

Apparently gravity is now under attack!

A brilliant Eric Duvay vid.

He explains that it is weight not gravity that makes things fall!
OMG
What is happening to education?

This is of concern to all when serious numbers of Americans
believe in a flat Earth and the non-existence of gravity. Why?
BECAUSE THEY CAN VOTE

Apparently not.
Quite a few of the flat-Earthers condemn gravity.
Newton was part of the Big Conspiracy. (Free Mason etc.)

While at it we should cover the difference between mass and weight (easily googled).

If you guys would have been at basic philosophy courses you would know that Aristoteles explained to us that heavy things tend to go down, because it is their natural location.

A lot of people will fall for it. I wonder if it isn't a pseudo science being developed to discredit other Scientific Ideas by association. In other words if an idea doesn't come from the established scientific community, then it can't be right because it is like the flat earthers. Alien stuff is probably the same thing.

So why don't you sew up your own flag for the Earth? Clearly you have your own ideas.

What moral issues would surround bringing children into the confined and arguably dehumanizing environment of a multi-generational manned space flight to a hugely distant location where their childhood physiology might be negatively impacted either by exposure to zero gravity or to the untold effects of some Heath Robinson solution constructed to simulate it? 😠

You have a board with misogynist drawings?
Always wanted one but the wife wouldn't allow it.

Does your wife - if I may ask - refer to herself as a "chick" like robbie's women friends do? And would I be able to "keep her in the kitchen" if I met her, as GHOST HUNTER suggested I'd want to? 😛

My wife is a "babe" and not a "chick". She needs a map to find the kitchen!
(She is the family bread-winner and I am a "Stay-at-home-dad" )
