This is a nice thread. No nuisance or annoyance at all. Sometimes when I'm stressed I like to come here and just - you know - browse. And after a while, when I feel better, I go back to my waiting games and maybe see things differently. You know, people on this site have their differences but it is harmless really. We can still turn to a thread like this one, silent, sparse, uncluttered and share a few moments of simply belonging - knowing that here at least, if nowhere else, nothing is demanded, nothing required of us. If I may quote my literary hero, "here one feels that one is at one with one who once..." And yet, despite the silence, the empty space, the void of blank posts, do not our minds start to turn, to search, even to race? Is it really possible ever to be entirely silent without evoking thoughts, reminiscences, reflections, speculations, perhaps even violent projections and screaming imaginings, the scared anticipation of half forgotten childhood fears, knowing that here in this silence we are left with the reflection of our own rambling minds?
