hello, i am relatively new to chess. Could someone tell me how i king my rook? ie., i move the king 2 spaces and the rook doesn't jump the king- little help.

Just move the king to the correct square and when you press move the castle will move by itself. Make sure that you have not moved the king or rook before you castle and that the king is not in check and does not pass through check.

Then you must be casteling through check.

you mean castle your king??
move your king over 2 squares then click move
the system will move the rook
as moving ur K 2 sqaures signifys castling in most game sites
