Why would anyone believe God gave them the power over the subs? Dude, people don't think like that when they're sober. There's no logical reason for lots of stuff. Why did an illiterate bozo become a national leader??? Almost enough to make one believe in Satan, perhaps...

And then the second paragraph gets sooooo much worse...
