I am new to the site and one thing caught my
eye. A player states in his profile that he will claim
a timeout if you are vacation or not. Is this possible?
If so is it common?
but its not common at all.
Originally posted by UncleAdamDon't believe that it is that uncommon. I went away for two weeks in August, set my vacation status but still was timed out in two of my games.

Unfortunately, some people are more concerned about grabbing ratings points than playing the game. They shall remain nameless (but you might want to check out game no.253175 if you are curious)ðŸ˜
For me if a person announces a vacation for no matter
how long [within site rules] I will respect that time
gone but if he oversteps the alloted time then I will
claim a victory on time. To undermine a person's stated vacation
or if that person wrote me asking for more time and then
claiming timeout is wrong. Just my opinion!!
