Mighty disappointed. Leur and I used to go round and round over who was better, my Phoenix Suns or his Houston Rockets.

Game One of the NBA finals was last night and the Phoenix Suns beat the Milwaukee Bucks 118-105. Devin Booker and Chris Paul took the Bucks to school.

Game Two, Thursday, Game three, Sunday.

Hall-of-Famer Al McCoy is the best play-by play announcer in the league.

This is finally Phoenix's year.

it's joy in Suziville again

Maybe a bucks fan will show.

But it certainly seems very few people care about the NBA at the moment. Looks like at least a 10 percent drop in viewership compared to last year.

Great post! It is a perfect observation for a sports topic on a chess site.

Game 3 Sunday night, Bucks 120 - Suns 100.

Suns lead the series 2-1. The series stays in Milwaukee for Game 4, returning to Phoenix for Game 5.

Game 4, Wednesday, Game 5, Saturday.

Close to 25,000 fans outside Fiserv Forum last night. The Bucks have a Deer District - big screen TVs etc for fans without tickets.

My workplace is a few blocks away and we are already making plans to get out early Wednesday and beat the crowds coming downtown.

Steven A. Smith from ESPN said on the air he had no interest in going to Milwaukee and Phoenix for the finals. I could not disagree more. Living in both cities over the years, I think they are both highly underrated.

Phoenix and the Valley is one of the great metropolitan areas of this country. Great hard-working people, great restaurants, sports, outdoor areas for family activities, excellent local music scene.

Milwaukee likewise has a great music scene and so many excellent little ethnic restaurants, you could never visit them all in a lifetime of weekends.

Game 4 should be a classic.

@Anitya

If you have the money to burn. Otherwise you watch from home if you are interested.

Viewership has been way down the past couple of years.

you're just sore because you didn't think of it

@lemondrop

I got a good laugh from that post. It was totally irrelevant to anyone interested in sports, but something a chess player might find interesting.
