Hello all,
I was recently given a site to check out from a photographer friend of mine and I thought many of you might be interested. It contains a lot of female nudity but is not pornography....I have a feeling that many of the females on this site might enjoy it as well. The address is:
http://www.domai.com
Check it out and let me know what you think and please post any similar sites that you know. 🙂

Seems a lot like pornography to me. Tasteful pornography but pornography nonetheless. Maybe that's just me though.

The photos most of us see in mags like Hustler don't have ANYTHING to do with art most of the time, lol. All that aside, this is a very nice site, Cat, but I know you're just trying to temporarily distract me so you can ravage me in our Mini Duel game! 😉
Depends how you define porn I guess.

I just found this in the newsletter archive and thought you all might find it interesting. 🙂
The Pledge of DOMAI
I hereby promise:
1. never to my willful knowledge let a beautiful girl pass without enjoying the sight.
2. never to speak slightingly of or underestimate the importance of beauty and grace, and always support it in conversation when needed.
3. to keep beauty near my heart and always be aware that it is what is keeping us happy and content, and much of what makes life worth living.
4. never to let merely intellectual pursuits, important as they may be, distract me for any undue length of time.
5. to keep in mind that beauty is a spiritual thing, no more and no less.
6. to always keep a pure mind when seeing beauty, or, failing that, at least take pleasure thinking what I am thinking.
7. to remember that seeing is the only form of having that is actual. Thus, what you can see you can have. The reason for possessing anything is to prevent others from having it too, a pointless exercise.
8. to not be bothered when they go away. There will always be more.
9. to enjoy life and what it has given me, and in return to support life and be constructive.

American judges once described it as: Anything which leads to sexual fantasies without anything artistic being displayed.
And like Bill Hicks (the late, but ultimately great, Bill Hicks of course) pointed out, that's the majority of advertisments...
I took a look at this site. I found it very retro. It reminded me of the nude pictures taken back in the 30's when everything had to be slightly decent. Except these were in colour.
The girls are always the centre of attention. In some of the photos, like LEENA and ROSALITA, I think he makes good use of lighting and background. Actually adding a context or a setting to the photo.
Other photos like XENIA, TATIANA and ANTMANETTA are just nude women posing and offer nothing extra. They could be play-boy photos.
Not that I'm saying that play-boy is pornography, but as far as I can remember most of their photos are just to show off nude women.
Of course this could all be prentious rambling from me, but I do find there is a difference if a body is naked with his/her legs wide or if a body is naked with the colosseum in the background. Just me.
Which makes describing pornography so difficult.
I also found some of the models looking rather young. ANN for example doesn't look fully mature to me.
Now, if they get paid well and do it willingly, I guess I'm in no position to whine about it. But when someone writes: "All my models are 18", then he has thought about his actions, and he probably thought about them for some reason!
He also writes that he likes the girls in their natural enviroment. I'd really, really like to know where this enviroment is, where young naked girls run carelessly through wheat fields on warm spring days. I really want to know!
Originally posted by Cheshire CatWell, I read his article and I agree with him on his description of pornography. Personally I have no problems with pornography, so the debate to me is actually more along the lines of: Are these photos artistic or not.
