*sigh* I hate german politicians. In a way, I'm glad I'm a year to young to vote in this one (yesterday). I can't decide which party sucks most.... gah!

yeah well there seem to be two main similarities between the recent elections in nz and germany:

1. despite the fact that no one won, everyone seems to be claiming victory (maybe more so in germany...)
2. the parties all sucked arse imnsho

coinicdence given they happened in the same weekend? I THINK NOT!!

The citizens of Germany and New Zealand can count themselves lucky, the pollies are going to be so busy arguing amongst themselves that we'll all be able to get on with our lives with out worrying about what new laws they'd otherwise be pooping out.

Expect gummint spending to take a welcome dive while they compromise party principles, double deal, make and break coalitions as they all scramble to get their hands on the reins.

Serious question: Is it Prime Minister or President, or something cool I haven't heard of yet in New Zealand?

Prime Minister and a Governer General (The Royal Figurehead) who has the power to sack the government and that's about all.

And both our Governor General and Prime Minister are really hot women. We are really lucky.
