I remember the original when I was a kid and was I sci fi fan but ST didn't float my boat
Originally posted by robbie carrobie I also love the original series but id rather be castrated with a rusty saw than admit that I have something in common with the jeester

Watched Star Trek yesterday, was awesome, these dissident hippies were beamed aboard and tried to covert they crew to their hippy ways. They were lead by a crazed but brilliant scientist who was leading them on a quest to find the planet Eden. They eventually got there and although it looked beautiful, all the fauna was poisonous. Man Sci fi adventure and thinly veiled religious theme with sixties styling, how good does it get? 😵
