that bit in O12 where Brad, George and Matt go see this guy and they start speaking in riddles, and Matt has no idea what's going on?
well, er, neither did i. can someone please enlighten me? apparently Matt tries to bluff his way by quoting lyrics from Led Zeppelin's Kashmir, but what was going on there? Brad, George and the other guy seemed to be in on the joke...
off/on topic. The movie really ruined Oceans 11 for me. I mean... giving the money back? What the? It wasn't nearly as intigrate a plan or environment. The only thing going for it was to see the guys back in action together again.
Edit: And to help you out a bit, here is something courtesy of www.moviemistakes.com:
What is the 'lost in translation' scene with Robbie Coltrane about? (is it actually a reference the the Bill Murray film?). [A "lost in translation" is a kind of con - Danny, Rusty and Matsui basically pulled a prank on Linus to make him feel like he didn't know what they were talking about when, in fact, they were just speaking gibberish.]
Originally posted by CoconutYay now I don't need to see it as you have ruined it for me.

Off topic I know, but saw The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in Russian yesterday. Can't help thinking that the film benefitted enormously from not being able to understand the woeful dialogue! Though even then I think I would rather have spooned my own intestines out and eaten them before watching them reappear again a few hours later...
