These are basically meaningless, but really not a problem although a long conversation with one of these people is not fun not in any way shape or form for the listener, you know?

It's a UK site, they focus on the US market (which is why the price is quoted in USD) and even used a US server until currency changes made it impractical. The third-party site which collecfts the cash probably prefers EUR to GBP, heaven knows why.
