My hippie bohemian artist housemate can't pay his rent, so he's leaving to go home to his family in Buffalo. Apparently under such circumstances the two of us who are left are expected to cover his rent. The other guy is an older guy who ruined his feet in a motorcycle accident and is carrying the lease himself. He has nowhere to go and is not a rich man. He's also an artist sort (a musician), but does computer work for money. If I leave, this poor guy will stuck with the full bill.
And...I just quit my job, and have been relying on getting another job that should be easy for me to get...but you never know.
Ah well, I know how to be poor at least. It won't be the first time. I hope we get another housemate soon.

Another piece of advice, besides go to school and get a real job, stop living with vagrants for Christ's sake. It's not like they're going to help you get a life plan together. Surrounding yourself with losers may make you feel better about yourself, but, its hardly going to help you achieve anything. Nobody's going to give you a humanitarian award so drop the motorcycle bus crash guy like a cheerleaders panties on prom night and look after yourself.
Don't make me make you a object life leason for my young child. Put down the hash pipe and pick up the classifieds.
