Thats what we call New Years Eve. its a party night all over the world. My partying days are over. Home in my pajamas hanging out with the family and playing chess, eating healthy food. Had 5 Stella Artois. Going to switch to a premium rum soon, probably Eldorado 21 Yr old. In my young days ... cant tell you. How things change as you age. Life is still good.

I follow the bible;s advice on these things... work hard, eat well [without being gluttonous], have a drink of alcohol [avoiding drunkenness], be generous to the poor, treat people well.

@torunn saidI remember in university with my buddies, we often wondered what life would be when we cross 50. It was a scary thought at that time, but it turned out well. Its nice to be retired with less cares and responsibilities.

@very-rusty saidCorrect. Same here. Police are trying to control it but at 12.03 this morning the night sky was lit up and the noise was deafening. Our police here are not too efficient.
Someone in our area got fireworks from somewhere and were shooting them off last night. People will always find a way.
