Idea came from Daharvester saying he liked Jelly and Peanut Butter sandwiches!

What other mad recipes have people cooked up when either

1> Very drunk
2> Very poor
3> Both

I used to like Cheesy Wotsit sandwiches and Onion Brevilles!

Recipes thought up when very poor or very drunk. So you mean recipes thought up whilst a student?

1) Cold baked beans from the can with a dollop of mayo eaten with a cocktail stick.
2) Cold rice pudding from the can with a dollop of strawberry jam. This is equally nice when sober and solvent. You could even put it in a bowl to add that touch of class.
3) Chocolate and banana brevilles.

These aren't actually that weird. Just cheap student food.

I had a mate at uni that ate a worm sandwich for a fiver so he could get some beers in.

Yeah - well I've been a failed student twice, which means 5 years on and working I'm still paying off debts and always skint!!!

Other stuff I've tried and loved:

Pasta mixed with Marmite: yum yum!!

Once had a mate who ate a catfood sandwich for the same bet. Some people, eh?

While desperate and hungry in college -

Squirrel stroggenoff .

Lesson one : Stay away from squirrel unless incredibly desperate .

Lesson two : Don't try stroggenoff unless you have a cook book or are experienced . Some of the basic ingredients are also helpful . Just going by 'looks' is not a great plan .

Lesson three : Don't mix lesson one and lesson two .

Sometimes a crisp sarny (sandwhich) can seem like a luuxxury,
camping out when younger, we lived it up, whilst dining on magpie, which we had shot the day before, not that I'm proud, anything but.
Cold baked beans on digestives is a filler.
Water on cornflakes, umm um.

Pizznachios.

Coming from an idea from a game, it's a slice of pizza with nacho chips on top. Use it for a yearly basis.

Talking of students I once witnessed one drinking a yard (2 1/2 pints) of cold Oxtail cup-a-soup. Needless to say they were VERY sick shortly after
