I'm a bit lost here, I'm afraid. What kind of book are you referring to? I always assumed you were originally English and therefore I expected you to speak natural English, with the same kind of mistakes most people do. Or am I missing something here? My English is probably good but sometimes I miss a lot reading the posts. Perhaps you can tell me/us a little more about yourself - where were you born?
You read the Tale of Opto and Windy? Do you forget?

Most people on RHP assume I am English too.

Your English is better than mine, believe me!

I was born in Ubon Ratchatani, Ampour Mueang, Thailand.

Us? Nobody wants to know me..., 555.

My English written is a result of going to an English Private school when I was 8, and I continued until 18.

My father sold land to pay for my education, yet he knew little of what education was, and still doesn't.

I don't know about The Tale of Opto and Windy - at least I don't think so.
555 - don't understand that either.
I thought you were an Englishman married to a beautiful Thai woman, that is all I knew. Interesting.

555 = laughing or funny, in Thai..... same as falang writes RFMAO.

I am married to a beatiful Thai woman, I would not marry falang.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Everybody here thinks I am from Liverpool. My fun has been on the scouse humour. 😉

Pom meng gnaw! (This site doesn't accept my alphabet!)

Gleaned the distinct impression, from your previous posts (during 2008 to December 2010) that you were a native of Great Britain who later relocated to Asian Rim Countries, moved around until settling in Thailand to build a permanent nest after undergoing some kind of miraculous conversion and that you and yours still visit kith and kin in and around London. Mike, am I mistaken?

Miraculous conversions don't happen. A metaphorical expression in English is a 'leopard never changes its spots.'

I was a native of GB, of course. From 8-18. That doesn't make me English!

My permanent nest has never been an issue of mine, and never questioned until now.

I come clean. You gleaned perception. That's dangerous ground.

Why have I been asking for Thai language to be used on this site since I joined?

Do you sense any iota of who I may be now?

No.

Did you leave your post as "Co. CEO and Non-executive Managing Director - Asia Operations" (http://www.technicondesign.com/) as you claim in Thread 83848 (page 6) to become a teacher?

You said then "my chess sucks!". It certainly doesn't now! Believe me, I know.

Your post captures the elusive steps of the unreality jig Mike's been dancing to the music of denial. Thanks.
