One reason...

One reason I post is to feel the warm and sometimes rough push and pull of another human being somewhere else on the globe but, for that

brief moment, in the same time and space and to sense what it's like walking in his/her shoes. It's not at all unlike chess itself and won't quit.

I post for a similar reason - it is interaction with a humman being and the great people you meet thoughout the world. It is just like chess and as addicted as chess.

Sometimes it's the actual game itself than can do it.

Witness Thread 110605.

One bad move by a player (he misses a mate in two) and it
generated threads in the Chess forum (over 100 posts) and a few
in the Help Forum.

I love it.

Faceless interaction can sometimes be a great placebo to the loneliness we all encounter.

Profile Faces cost $30.00. All other RHP Goodies... priceless.

GB is all about himself. He thinks his threads are gems to be enjoyed... and users overlooked it.

To punish us for forgetting, he writes Thread Closed.

Guess maybe because it asked if it could have one last look at page

one on its final journey to the archives cemetery crypt. I said, okay.

Repeat after me:

I do not have the power to close threads, only to kill them.
Threads die when they become uninteresting or when I kill them.
I am not Jesus. Dead threads stay dead.

Only one minor detail escaped your eagle eye... this three day old thread

never left page one. You kill yours your way. I'll do the same with mine.
