Finally got around to watching it tonight.

Pretty good, too long but enjoyable. Overrated I’d say.

Who else has seen it and who at did you think?

Last movie I went to the cinema to see when it was released (have since been once to the cinema but was a nothing else to do moment).

I enjoyed it, I think it would be better in the cinema than at home. Will watch it again at some point but I do agree it was a bit overrated but still good.

I saw it when it first came out. I'd rate an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Overrated? Maybe a bit, but those who lived through that time wouldn't think so. They watched humanity transition from the conventional to the nuclear age as the most destructive war in human history came to an end.

It was indeed a pivotal historic time in human history and those who lived through it would have certainly felt the social and political impact of the dawn of the nuclear age. But we’re talking about a movie about it and how good the movie is not judging the impact of the events themselves.

I think that period and those events are underrated, and the movie is overrated.

It didn't impress me at all, and it was far too noisy - not a single silent moment.

It was one of the films on offer on a short flight from Danang to Singapore a week or so ago, so I watched it. The flight was about fifteen minutes shorter than the film, so I missed the end; (I politely asked the cabin - crew if they would mind asking the captain to circle for a bit before landing, or go a bit slower, but they politely refused, I shall be complaining to Singapore Airlines) anyway, it passed the time, but I won't be rushing to watch the rest of it. Couldn't really see what all the fuss was about.

The denotation of a nuclear bomb is rarely a time for quiet, composed, introspection.

I understand, but it was the overall noise and overwhelming sound that made me tired, and it was a long film.
