I always understood that bumblebees were theoretically incapable of flight based on rigid wing aerodynamics, but quite capable based on rotary wing theory.

Bumblebees are theoretically incapable of flight.

It's a bit like the theoretical physicist who after years of work proposed a mathematical model that could predict the future outcome of any horse race on earth. Over a million computations based on over a thousand variables led to a result that eliminated chance.

When challenged about his model by a close friend, he admitted that although perfect in terms of statistical accuracy, it was flawed in one key respect. It only worked when applied to spherical horses moving through a vacuum 😀 😀

If the one is not done and this battle can't be won.
Do we stop, do we drop, do we hop on the cop?
Should we dance, should we prance, or take up a mighty stance?
Do we hate this rape, horror in a familiar shape?
When you rub, it shines. wrinkled joy full of lines.

any takers?🙂
