The next Ender book is out in paperback, Shadow of the Giant.
I just finished it and realized just how much Card I have read over the years. How the Enders Game series started out as basically teenage Sci-fi but how it has had its ups and downs and how its not teenage fiction any more. I was looking at the good stories Card gave us which I read: Songmaster. The Worthing Saga. Wyrms.
The Tales of Alvin Maker: Seventh Son. Red Prophet. Prentice Alvin.
Alvin Journeyman. Heartfire. The Crystal City.
Ender: Ender's Game, which started as a short story in Analog in 1977(!). Ender's Shadow. Shadow of the Hegemon. Shadow Puppets. Shadow of the Giant. Speaker for the dead. Xenocide. Children of the Mind.
Homecoming: The Memory of Earth. The Call of Earth. The ships of Earth. Earthfall. Earthborn.
Now I have to read the Women of Genesis: Sarah. Rebekah. Rachel & Leah.
There is another nice one by card, good story line:
Pastwatch: The Redemtion of Christopher Columbus.
All in all an incredible addition to the literature of humankind.

A bit off topic, eh! But yes, Sonhouse is one of the great ones. I can only hope to play like he did. I have to make do with my imitation playing. Have to go, wife calling. Maybe we can talk more about this.
Don.

Excellent, I'll have to pick up a copy. I enjoyed most of the series of Ender books for their philosophical aspects, and interesting social interactions.

Since I interrupted the thread I went and looked up this OrsonCard fellow. I read through his version of Romeo and Juliet...interesting. Liked the art a lot.

Which book are you talking about? The Ender series? Not Alvin the Maker books. I think I have read about 29 of his books so far.

It was on his website. It looked as if that was the only place that it was published.

It was a fairly short abdaptation that you could read in quick fashion.
