Orthopedic Surgery

Since university I've been an avid tennis player. An early right elbow condition has finally developed into a full fledged complex neuropathy.

Modest risk, corrective surgery is now required and is scheduled for this Friday with Dr. Wiedeman. So out of the cockpit and off the general

forum for awhile. Past few weeks have been quite pleasant, investing the holiday thread chips from gb, and I thank you. Stay safe. Be well.

P.S. RHP Members who feel the urge or need to think or say 'Good Riddance' may be revealing that they secretly regard me as an almost

friend (even with my baggage of cursing by association with Bobby). Learned a long time ago that casual abuse is a sure sign of affection.

Are you sure it isn't gout and tophi in your elbow?

I have gout in my erectum state ( we aren't now allowed to use the word panis )

It seems to go hard and crystalise at the worst moment, and my only way out is deep penetration.

Did you consider penetrating your elbow? INTO Somebodys face?

Maybe a Thai message would do you good.

When they wheel you into the OR, resist the urge to psychoanalyze the doctors and nurses. Good luck.

Good luck with the elbow. Don't know what they do for elbows. Hips I do know. 8 weeks ago I had a total hip replacement. Orthopedic surgery has come a long way. I am back to work and pain free. ( Carpentry)

yeah boy, here's the procedure i underwent on friday. doc wiedeman drilled half dozen or so strategically pinpointed tiny holes in my right elbow to promote blood flow, scraped away accumulations of decrepitus from the inflammed area and manipulated correct re-alignment of the jangled ulnar and median nerves. entire cubital tunnel site is still an 8-9 ouchy on a scale of 10, even with my high pain threshold, but should heal completely with improved function in time. so i'm told. meanwhile, my daily life activities are best described as 'one hand clapping'... zero use of my swollen cast enclosed arm and numb/tingling fingers, so i've reluctantly had to kiss upper case two handed strokes good by for awhile. and, also, my untutored left hand has all it can say grace over trying to locate the letter keys without searching around for the black enter key with its worn off arrow and wording. anyway i'm in good spirits. oh, by the way, during bobby's cheerful call last night, to see how i was getting along, he mentioned that the seniorsville usa shrink's report finally came in the morning mail. diagnostic consensus is that he's been suffering from 'pfc'..... 'pernicious forum codgeritis'. complete bed and brain rest until 2009 has been prescribed. glad to hear your hip replacement went so well. friend of mine in the boston area developed an almost incurable staph infection following his new hip surgery and, now months later, still undergoes extensive three hour duration slow feed infusion pump intravenous medications twice daily. this unforseen medical complication forced him to close down his law practice. chap is a long, long way from being out of the woods. keep our many fellow citizen 'ike victims' in your prayers. all best wishes, songbird 9/13/08 😉

Well at least it's corrected your linefeed problem. Maybe you should type like this all the time. 😲
