Not even close🙂 I knew a few flamenco guitarists but nobody famous.

Did you watch any of those video's? I liked the one where they were practicing and the other guy puts on a tape of a classical piece and Paco comes over and says it would sound better with just guitar and plays it on guitar, never having heard it before!

Very articulate since note soloing in finger style, incredible speed. That first album of the three: DeLucia, DiMeola & McLaughlin was what brought more people to his playing, I think it brought listeners to Flaminco.

I think it safe to say he was the Segovia of Flamenco.
