That match generated near a half BILLION dollars and the fighters were supposed to split 200 mil but they actually got to split more like 300 MILLION. Doesn't sound TOO dead to me. Not that I personally would pay the ridiculous 100 bucks to watch it on pay per view. Screw that! 5 bucks, that would be one thing. A hundred? Forget it🙂

It was a poor fight, poor advertisement for boxing, so much hype was promised but then quickly defused once Mayweather started his usual boring routine.

Didn't stop me putting £40 on his winning by decision tho 🙂

Many people do care. But then, they also care about Theatre "Wrestling" and Whatever Idol. That doesn't mean that the latter is art, or either of the former a sport.
