Why in the hell would i care about my writing errors in this forum, i don't have to be professional here. why do you always start this crap. I am a teacher of history and have a masters degree, which i have mentioned to you before when we have had words. why don't you go start a grammar forum somewhere and stop going around screwing up threads with your grammar sh!t.

Teachers are alos a pain in the a$$ as you would probably put it.

I can't know wthe homework my child is supposed to do, if same child didn't write down. So it's useless to phone me and ask why I didn't control....

All the subjects at school i enjoyed was because i had a good t ...[text shortened]... oom.
Note to all teachers out there - it's not the parents fault there kid has a crap teacher!
I havnt missed a day in 2 years, I love my job and my kids and I work during my holidays and summers building houses. Some teachers are very crappy, but some parents expect teachers to be parents for them, and that is not our job

Tedious, however. I was doing it since nursery school.
Presumably you missed the lesson about only using "since" in past perfect and present tenses.

I think your all missing my point, i love my job, my students, and the work that I have to do. Parents and teachers both have alot of impact and responsiblity in the childrens lives. I'm just going off because a parent called me this morning about his sons morals and values and basically asked "why doesn't my son know right from wrong?" - the parent was blaming me for something he should have been teaching his son all his life.
I am not talking about the academic side, there are distinct differences between the job of parents and jobs of the teachers. I, and a lot of other teacher, go beyond the requirements of our job description to help the children grow personally as well as academically. and i am more than aware that there are crappy teachers out there, i work with some. but the father that called me this morning had no right to go off on me for his lack of parenting. and that is what i have a problem with

That's okay. Just keep away from my kids.

(That's a joke, by the way.)

I see your point, and I know how frustrating it can be to have to deal with parents who don't take responsibility for their children's lives, but are very quick to accuse others of not taking responsibility. However, I am at least as frustrated about teachers not taking responsibility and blaming the parents instead. Not knowing the situation, you, your school, the children or the parents, I felt it was meaningless to comment (besides, I am way too tired for a good discussion).

I understand what you mean, we all make mistakes, i do also. I fulfill every part of my job description. so i suppose the basic point is that parenting is not part of my job description, although teachers certainly do it, and I try to as well when i can. I teach life skills when i can, and i have good control over my classroom. maybe thats because my students aren't used to a 6'2 215 pound teacher 😛 but i am not to blame for a student who has been a devil in the school for the 7 years he has been here before he got to me. The situation was not good, and the parent blamed me. I have much more control over this student then the father does at home. he does not parent his son

Some kids will always be complete pains in the neck. Which is a shame. I can understand it from time to time, we all have bad days afterall. Regardless of the ability of the teacher, there are some pupils who make the job far more difficult than it needs to be. Thankfully, I'm not facing those type at the moment (the very extreme cases anyway), it should be up to parents to ensure their kids are well mannered. We can do something, but not everything.

Are you like the teacher out "the wall"?

Most teachers remind me of Satan's spawn come alive.
Maybe you're like Mathilda's teacher?

Many teachers remind me of Dr. Strangelove. I don't know why.

Do you give sex education?
I never got enough sex education when I was at school 🙁
