For a 12-0 team the Packers do suck.

Lions will eat them for breakfast in the playoffs.

If they can cut down on the stupid penalties, they have the talent to make the playoffs.

They will. Dallas beat the Giants next week after the Lions easy win over the Vikings and they're practically there already.

I wouldn't count on Dallas.

Dallas and Giants play each other twice, so even if the Giants win on Sunday it takes them both to 7-6 with another game to come. Lions have 3 very winnable games coming up but with the fixture list if they win only 2 and end on 9-7 they have a good shout for a playoff spot.

Too bad my Seahawks are going to win out and get in with a nine win season... but even if they don't they will be at least 11-5 next year with a possible superbowl team the year after... they must be the most talented team in history with as young of players as they have.

Ummmm, when you come down off of your high.....look at the Houston Texans.
That is one impressive collection of young talent. And they are whipping folks
missing a minimum of 6 starters due to injury...5 season ending ones.
And they would wipe the field up with your Seahawks.

LOL the Seahawks are one of the youngest teams in history and they are missing almost their whole O line due to injury and quite a few defensive players and they still have a top ranked run defense... did you see how they handled Philli?

Seahawks OLT Russell Okung(notes) tore his pectoral muscle in Thursday night's win over the Eagles and will reportedly miss the rest of the season. He is expected to undergo six months of rehab, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 2010 first-round pick suffered the injury while engaged with Eagles DE Trent Cole(notes). Head coach Pete Carroll described it as a "significant" pectoral injury.

Carroll called the play "out of line."

"He got thrown down after the whistle, really blatantly," Carroll said Friday. "Stuff like that happens in the game sometimes, but this was most unfortunate because he was damaged by it."

Okung has started 12 games this season. He started 10 games as a rookie last season while battling ankle injuries. The Seahawks already lost rookies OT James Carpenter(notes) and OG John Moffitt(notes) to season-ending injuries.

Aside from right tackle Breno Giacomini(notes), who is starting for Carpenter, Jarriel King(notes) is the only other tackle on the Seahawks' roster. Right guard Paul McQuistan(notes) moved to left tackle for Okung and Lemuel Jeanpierre(notes) took over for McQuistan.

11/28 David Vobora LB IR. Out for the season
10/04 Matt McCoy LB IR. Out for the season
9/17 Dexter Davis DL IR. Out for the season
11/30 Sidney Rice WR IR. Out for the season

I'd say that their season has been pretty impressive considering the injuries and the average age of the players.

You think that compares to these outs?

All Pro DE/LB Mario Williams out for year with torn pectoral
All Pro QB Matt Schaub out for year with broken foot
All Pro WR Andre Johnson has missed 7 games so far with an injured Hamstring
LB Darryl Sharpton out for year with a knee
SS Dominique Barber out for year with a knee
P Brett Hartmann out for year with a knee
QB Matt Leinhart out for year with broken collarbone

Those are just the players on IR (except for Johnson who is game to game now)

Then they have All Pro LB Brian Cushing playing on a balky knee and a rib injury
FB James Casey recovering from a torn pectoral muscle
FB Lawrence Vickers has missed 2 games for hamstring

Yet the Texans are not struggling to make a wild card, they are fighting to get home
field advantage throughout the playoffs and winning their division.

Last I checked, Philadelphia isn't going to the playoffs.
Did you see the Texans beat Atlanta (who is 3 games ahead of Philly and 2 ahead of
Seattle) with a rookie 3rd string QB last week?

Go ahead, carry on about your Seahawks now.

Aha... who cares about those injuries? The defense of each has about as much damage from injuries but the Seahawks lost three starters on their O line and in the last four to five weeks Marshawn Lynch has had more rushing yards than any other RB... that is pretty impressive.

Also, how young is the average starter on the Texans? I'd bet its nothing near as young as the average starter on the Seahawks.

Marshawn Lynch has the 13th most yards in the league so far this season.
One of those players he trails is Arian Foster of the Texans, who missed two games
with a hamstring injury.
Also you will see Ben Tate is only a few yards behind Lynch in the rankings and he
is the second team RB for the Texans.

Your facts are so screwed up....you are just a homer rooting for your team without
any knowledge of the rest of the league.

You must need glasses... I said in the last five weeks... he led all rushers in the month of November.

Marshawn Lynch(notes) sure likes playing in primetime games. With the help of the Seattle Seahawks' offensive line, he absolutely tore apart the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night (Dec. 1). Lynch had his way with the defensive line and linebacker core of the Eagles, rushing for 148 yards on just 22 carries. That works out to an average of 6.7 yards per carry, and it was very clear that he could do just about anything he wanted to in this game.

Lynch put up a lot of great numbers on November, making up for the first few games of the season where he was playing injured. Now he has become one of the most valuable running backs in fantasy football, and for those owners counting on him to win in the playoffs during Week 13, he certainly did not disappoint. It's never supposed to look as easy as Lynch made it look on Thursday night, but maybe it was all in the attitude that he had in preparing for this game.

In addition to his 148 rushing yards, Lynch had two great touchdown runs that really helped out with his fantasy football numbers. He didn't get the chance to do much in the passing game though, because the Seahawks were trying something new with fullback Michael Robinson(notes). Robinson hasn't been part of the passing game at all this year, but suddenly he caught 4 passes for 41 yards that really helped spread out the defense for when Tarvaris Jackson(notes) decided to hook up with his receivers.

In the standard scoring system for Yahoo! Fantasy Football, Lynch posted 26.8 points on Thursday night. That is a remarkable total that could have him among the highest scoring running backs for the week. It's also worth mentioning that Eagles running back LeSean McCoy(notes) also got into the end zone twice, posting 25.3 fantasy football points for owners that have relied upon him as well.

Lynch was the story in this game though, because he just kept pounding the ball right into the teeth of the Eagles defense and he did it was continuous success. He is certainly looking good and earning the dollars signs that will certainly come with his next contract in the NFL.

Again, because Seattle has ONE RB getting all of their carries,
try adding the Texans Foster and Tate together and they are better than Lynch.

Also, Texans clinched their Division Championship today!!
