Let me tell you something. If I had one leg, I would be hopping to the bathroom in the middle of the night instead of using a bedpan. She's claiming he abused her for refusing to let her use a bedpan at night. The woman's crazy. Howard Stern told him he was a damn fool for not getting a pre-nup.

I think youre right Frank. I read somewhere last year that he forked over 3 million clams for the wedding itself...not too bad huh? Any of you girls out there like a 3 million dollar wedding? I think I'm going to have to check that book out Frank, I never knew they had a mercenary streak to them!

The book is quite an eye opener Bob. It definitely exposes all the warts and quirks they all possessed. The group and image that Brian Epstein marketed is quite different from who they really were. Both as a group and as individuals. It was this image they all resisted when it was introduced to them (example: bowing to the crowd after songs) and all tried to shed after his death. Check it out Bob, I think you will really like it.

Prior to Epsteins leadership the Beatles were a hard rocking and hard partying band. When Epstein took over the management of the Beatles he put them in the now famous collerless suits and made them polish their act. No more drinking and cursing (sometimes fighting) on stage. He now had them bowing to the crowd, even convinced them to perform for the queen, which they all did not care to do.
After his death, the suits were shed, their hair grew longer and they once again traveled as the renegades they originally were. That's it in a nutshell. If you are interested you may want to read Bob Spitz's book too. I couldn't let it go.

I saw a film of them playing at Shea Stadium(?). They bowed after the song. I thought they were respectful. Guess not. I also thought that ABBA was clean cut as well. The song Voulez Vous by ABBA is not such a clean song.
