The fighting and bickering was driven to new heights recently with a thread attacking certain users for fighting and bickering.

I was struck by the irony, although I was cognizent that the thread was prompted by another in site ideas that was viewed as an attack.

There are, on this site, many people who like the drama...people on both sides of the aisle.

There are many who remember why and when this fight started. There are even more who grew up on the site just knowing that "we fight them."

I propose a one month cease fire. And urge all TSMers to disengage from attacks based solely on club or clan status: to stop the ceaseless war between the rockers and the mods for just 30 days.

perhaps someone from the other side could join me in supporting this effort.

I'd be curious to see what the forums were like and if they were more or less enjoyable without the class warfare.

Alternatively, if we are going to take this thing so seriously, let's take it to the next level. I propose pistols at dawn and stand ready to meet a representative of the other side at Weehawken.
