when I was a kid in winter my dad used to make me and my sister egg nog ( port with egg whisked in) before breakfast every day, so I would rock up to school half pi$$ed,,,,, helped me get through the day, never caught a cold.

if you have a pecan tree in yer yard and you harvest the nuts from the tree
you already are correctly pronouncing the name
if you do not have a pecan tree in yer yard you pronounce the name, "nutz"

all other arguments are null and void
