Okay, point taken, although it doesn't seem logical - how can one be many?
One cannot be many, but one more can be too many.

Much applies to uncountable nouns (e.g., How much time does it take to change a light bulb?).

Many applies to countable nouns (e.g., How many light bulbs does it take to illuminate Times Square?).

What's not logical?

Take it easy on Noodles. English isn't her first language like you and I.

She will never poses the skills you and me have to speak good English.

We could straighten her out if we got her to move to Rhode Island.

The one extra one causes it to be too many altogether, but it isn't the one thing in itself that is too many. So in German we would say that there are too many ('zu viele'😉 because it's one too much ('zu viel'😉.

Time is both countable and uncountable...... as many nouns are in the English language.

I had a good time! (counted..... once, by the definite article 'a' = 1!)

Take your own time to help me on this one Andy? (uncountable!) - no article used.

😛

Time, flowing like a river
Time, beckoning me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time keeps flowing like a river
To the sea..

Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin'
Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I'm free
Oh, Lord, through the revolution

Feed the babies
Who don't have enough to eat
Shoe the children
With no shoes on their feet
House the people
Livin' in the street
Oh, oh, there's a solution

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I'm free
Fly through the revolution
