I do have a new composition for guitar, my first in a tuning new to me, not new to Hawaii though. A buddy of mine (genius type, actually, no shyte: Don Slepian, google him and you will find out what genius sounds like)
used to play Hawaiian guitar for a living in Hawaii like 20 years ago before the likes of George Winston (also a good buddy of mine) and turned me on to one of the Hawaiian tunings. It is close to the open G tuning but the bass string goes down to C instead of being at D. It makes the tuning totally different, one string change! Anyway, I'd be glad to share it, not many have actually heard it so show me the method, ok?
