Gah!
Nyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaa!!!
So easy to be a Yankee fan, isn't it. Yankee fans don't have the intestinal fortitude to watch a Yankee game if they get 4 runs back. They know it isn't the end of the world... yet they shut the TV off and go on about their business knowing they have a sure thing.
What fun is there in that? Enjoy your 26 rings you ...[text shortened]... m to be failing again.

Game 3 with Tigers today in about 2 hours. Not that it matters.
Originally posted by Natural ScienceWow, what a wild game? Did you get to see it on NESN? That is where I watch the Sox. They have Jerry Remmy, 'the Rem Dog' as color analysis. They showed the guy who does color analysis for Detroit.

He was batting in some game, and took a ball near the chin! He ran out to the mound following the pitcher running towards first... Next he's chasing the pitcher towards second base and out to left field! The guy got near the wall, and droped the the grass...
Who knows what happened next... must have been a huge fight! Rwing... any idea what I'm talking about?
Wakefield got taken for 6 homeruns and got the win!? Probably first ever pitcher to do that? They said the last time a pitcher threw 6 homrun balls was about 1940?
Tigers gave up a few also... crazy day! Glad to see the guys back in Fenway and would be great if they could sweep everone who comes in for the next stand!!
That is wishful thinking!

Yesterday I had a cousin's birthday party to go to, so I brought along my little pocket radio and listened to it on WEEI with Joe and Trupe. Those guys are the biggest homers I've ever heard. When you tune into the game, you don't even have to wait for the score to know how well the Sox are doing. You can find all you need to know in the tone of Joe's voice.
