Picture problem

I added the URL for my photo to my profile, but still no picture.
Help? Also, in the text part of my profile, I can't get my "titles" to
appear as separate lines from the main text. Any ideas?

Thanks to all! My computer knowledge is pathetic compared to any of
yours. Yes, the blurry picture is the one I wanted. It is the only
picture of me which can be seen by mortal eyes without causing
paralyzing terror. (For anyone who doesn't already know, I write horror
fiction as a sideline...)

OK, that didn't work either Tim... as far as I can see Julia is hosting
the picture for you? Then I think the following should work fine, try

I don't think that is gonna work either.Problem is nowadays almost no "free" web
spacers like geocities,homestead,angelfire etc, allow outside linking..Links to
stuff like images will only work in their communities.

You should have gotten some webspace from your internet service provider.If you
didn't then change ISPs.You'll need to phone them to find out where and how to
use it.Its intimidating at first,but pretty easy in reality.Tech support
will/should be able to walk you thru over the phone.
You also need to learn how use FTP.Also intimidating at first but easier than
you may think.I recommend smartftp which is available for free at
download.com.Its very user freindly.

If this was a vb bulletin board I could post images and a "tutorial" of
sorts(hint hint)

I might post a 5 minute tutorial here about how to do this.
I know where there is some free space everyone can use - and you
won't need to use FTP or anything compicated like that
