All this talk of diets and food is just making me hungry!

Anyway, today I have eaten three pies, yes three!

The flavours were:
1. A mash potatoe and mince (I think the english might call it a shepards pie, but it was a first for me)
2. A Spicy chicken and Jelapino pie (Also, a first for me)
3. Last but not least, a beef pie (hmmmmm, goood!)

So all this got me thinking, How many pies could i eat in one day?

I'm thinking that i may just be able to crack 15, i dunno if this is a bit optimistic but that's my initial goal...reach for the sky as they say.

So now i'm wonderin if i needed some kind of preparation for this momentous occasion, i've never done this before, so i'm looking for some ideas, inspiration, etc. Perhaps all the wise dieticians in these forums could advise me on what flavours would go down (and possibly up) the best?

You need to condition over the next few days. Stretch the belly out. Eat a lot! Once you feel you are stretched out you should perhaps eat some spicy foods to get the food moving. Some coffee will help, and you will need the extra zip to keep you awake.

Once you have purged the pipes get eating pie, slow and steady wins the race. You might want to sip milk to wash it down, but not too much as to fill you up.

Good luck, I hope this info helps.

If you combined:

1) A hang over
2) A free pie "buffet" for breakfast

I am sure you would ne a "net winner"

I think the trick would be to go for pies with minimial amount of pastry, as this is the bit that fills you up. Also, avoid overly-spicy pies (like the Jalepeno one, even though it does sound rather tasty). Wash 'em down with a few cold beers, watch some football and before you know it you'll have hit your target of fifteen and probably ready for some more!!!!!

feeling inspired to eat pies (though not of the vegetarian variety)
