why did sick nursery rhymes spread among children?
Ring a ring a ring of roses is about bubonic plague in England. I think that it might have helped mentally prepere children for exposure to death at an early age.

If MEAN is bad, then wouldn't MEANING be the act of being mean? And wouldn't MEANINGFUL be full of the act of being mean? So wouldn't a MEANINGFUL question be something like *Why would you wear your wife's purple silk dress when it makes you look so fat?*

Because they got the title wrong. Global warming? They forgot to say that global warming actually partly results in a 'reduction' in the average temperature in some regions. That's why so few people take it seriously. Global warming means the climate is getting cooler?... Hardly very credible.

Climate change, now that's something to take seriously.
