He was involved in a trade in July, Abreu and Lidle to the Yankees, and the Phillies got crap in return. I think this is really sad. I got to see him pitch a bunch of times the past few years in Philly. He was well liked, media and fan friendly, and a family man.

He had a tatoo on the elbow of his pitching arm that bled when he pitched, kind of a weird spot to get a tatoo for a MLB starting pitcher.
