Anyone know the species of plant Leon has in the film Leon (aka The Professional)?

This is really bugging me and others I know. Even trusty Google has not helped in the search for the answer.

the plant Leon nurtures (and Matilda replants at the end of the movie)
is an AGLAONEMA (apparently pronounced "ag-leon-ema"😉.
