I’ve a problem that’s driving me nuts 🤬 Since installing a iPad OS 26.2 software upgrade on my iPad which is a 9th generation I’m now having to log into RHP every single time I take a 5 minute break from the site.
I’ve never had to keep doing this before. Seems I’ve now got some extra privacy setting installed by iPad?
@Drewnogal saidThis update is awful; everything is bad about it from a user interface pov. Also there are privacy settings to change (as usual). There’s some good vloggers on YT who will walk you through it. However I have no issues logging into / out of RHP at the moment. There are reports on social media of millions of people blocking the updates since 26.1.

I don’t know what’s going on at Apple but they seem have moved away from the traditional flat clean interface to an increasingly glossy, liquidy over-complicated more style. I hate it. More clicks to perform simple functions etc. still prefer it to android though which has always been awful especially with “Bixby”.
@Drewnogal saidIs there a way to revert to the previous version of iOS?

I have an Android phone where it seems the updates happen whether one likes it or not (but I mostly use it as if it were a landline phone, so it's not much of a problem for me).
In other forums I have seen that macOS updates (which seem to be at-will instead of automatic) often break 3rd-party apps until the 3rd-party vendors recompile their apps.
Hmm, but just guessing -- swipe or whatever to get to the Settings, look for Privacy, and maybe somewhere there you could adjust the screen-locking settings to bump it up from 5 minutes.

@Drewnogal saidI have a newish iPad for testing, so I'll try to reproduce this.

Can you check if you are using Private Browsing mode? All cookies are deleted at the end of a session which means we can't keep you logged in.

@Russ saidThank you, I’ve been rummaging around in my iPad settings to no avail however, since posting this thread it’s miraculously stopped logging me out? 🙂

@diver saidI admit, Bixby blows.
