I'm getting really concerned with the youtube fascination. Do you, and everybody else who continue to point to this toilet of narcism, sit around and search for amusement on it all day?

Does anybody read anymore...you know, like a book?

The end of civilization is near. I'm sure it's depicted somewhere on youtube.

Yes. Your confession that you consider buying an ipod is a clear sign. 😉

you know, you've got a serious case of the 'old man syndrome' going on. the same sorry old thing that has been aired already in the classic greece. the golden age, the downhill of the 'youth today' and all that. when printing press revolutionized the spread of knowledge, old men lamented on the 'fast food mentality' of it. before that, books had some Worth to them, as it took years for a monk to reproduce another hand made copy of an Esteemed Book, which also made it incredibly expensive. So expensive that only the richest people could afford to have a library. then came newspapers, another 'bad influence to the youth' compared to the good old book printing. radio, movies, television, computer games, internet. not a single one of these new media got out without old men failing to see the potential in them, or without the current 'youth of today' getting heat for the new lows every generation seemed to reach.

and yet every indicator of the standard of living rises every generation, science progresses, and life in general gets better. it's just that (us) old men never change.

I read loads. It's a habit of mine.
Quiz me on literature if you disbelieve me. I'll just get out my trivia DVD.

Perhaps. I still think that myspace and youtube is part of a "look at me" syndrome.
