It's really rather good.

I've just discovered it, although i don't really know what i'm doing. I've downloaded juice and got some stuff through that and then also got some things via itunes but can't seem to almalgamate the two. As in take the podcasts i've discovered in itunes and manage them with juice and vice versa. Can anyone be bothered to explain how this stuff should work?

Does anyone know of any good indie/alternative rock podcasts around? Also any good jazz ones?

I'd actually be interested to know what this whole podcasting thing is about. I just got an ipod.

I seem to be getting the hang of it now, seems the easist way of doing it is through iTunes. Go to the Music Store and you will see a little link to podcasts on the list of stuff on the left. Then search for what you want and click. This downloads the lastest issue straight away and the you can go to podcasts and click on the little arrow next to the podcasts name and get back issues.

I'm a big fan of finding new music and this seems to be a really excellent way of getting it, being both free and legal (i messed around with Kazaa for a bit but that program sure does eats your computer).

podcasts are also recorded radio talk shows too, right? Can you easily upload them from itunes to a non ipod mp3 player?

Most of the ones i have found are in the form of radio shows and, indeed, some of them are also broadcast.

I have a sony walkman and although i haven't tried to put any on yet i would be surprised if it didn't work as it is just an MP3 file after all.

I can't believe I have overlooked this before, some of the podcasts look quite cool. I had previously used the bbc.com website to listen to radio shows after they had been broadcast, but this seems way more convenient. Nice one nick :-)
