Hi,

I was wondering how the points are decided upon at the end of a game. I am currently playing some who was ranked about 1500 when we started the game but is now down to 1200. Will the points awarded for this game be based on his initial point rating when we started or what it is when the game finishes?

Always based on the END of the game, not the start. There are a few valid reasons for this.. discussed often enough you may find them in Help or Site Ideas forums.
